Every year the most lavish awards show the Lux Style Awards (LSA) of Pakistan provides new stories for the masses. Either its someone’s wardrobe malfunction or not-so-synchronized dance performances, it sure entertains everyone. This time Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz managed to bag the cheapest couple of Pakistan award for creating an uproar among the awaam.
As everyone knows that Yasir proposed to Iqra during the LSA awards show and now they are officially engaged. Yasir’s reaction over Iqra’s yes turned out to be a vulgar one which triggered a large number of people. Several famous names from the entertainment industry also gave their opinions on the matter.
Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi was seen defending Yasir and Iqra’s kissing and hugging but the awaam schooled him well. Now, after Pakistanis, actor and host Veena Malik also tweeted against Abbasi’s opinion. Here’s what she had to say:
Veena Malik quoted Hamza Ali Abbasi’s tweet in which he had quoted some Hadiths. She even praised Abbasi’s character and the choices that he makes.
(6/1)Iam working in the Pak industry after long break almost 9 years.I met @iamhamzaabbasi Sahab on #PakistanStar set & became acquaintance. What I know about him so far that he's some1 who is upright, high principled, virtuous & impressed me so much in all walks of life https://t.co/zabTciBfJA pic.twitter.com/Z7cwy5wQoa

Moving forward, Veena Malik called out Hamza Ali Abbasi’s opinions wrong and that his favoring tweets for Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz were unexpected.
(6/2) be it his acting, hosting, judging but his thoughts which he usually tweet & always takes stand 4 right & always clearly callout wrong. Also just recently saw a video of urs on God which made me realize that u are insightful, cultured & enlightened and then this tweets came up

She then said that our religion (Islam) never taught us to kiss or even hug a girl before nikkah and that religion should not be brought up in between. Malik then congratulated Yasir and Iqra on their engagement.
(6/3)Nowhere in r Religion & quran it is written tht u can hug & kiss before Nikkah.I think we shouldn't bring religion 2 support their PDA.2 wrongs don't make a right.Ofcourse, congratulations to the couple & so happy 4 that they'll get married & preferred Halal over Haram

Malik further tweeted that the ending of the proposal was something really inappropriate. We live in a Muslim country and being a popular personality of the country, people look onto us and adapt things. These type of acts should not be favored or promoted in our country.
(6/4)but how the proposal ended wasn't appropriate as the act was utterly uncultured. We live in a Muslim country r Religion & culture both doesn't allow that & such acts r looked down upon.U rightly said that this era isnt like the previous1 now u have to show alot of more

As the hugging and kissing is a wrong representation of our moral values, it can set wrong examples for the masses, if promoted.
(6/5)responsibility & moral ethics towards society. This PDA doesn't represent r moral & cultural values, let alone religious.Every Media personality have a responsibility towards society, people follow them. So,they r not supposed to set wrong examples 4 the masses. #hamza

Malik ended on saying that talking about haram and halal and still defending the hugging and kissing before nikkah doesn’t make any sense. Sometimes some halal acts can also get public so, being careful is the key.
(6/6) U are talking about Haram and Halal & yet defending the kisses before Nikkah? If someone is following islam and doing Nikah then why doing Haram before Nikah? Even for some Halal acts you can't go public so they should have been a little careful!!

Oh boy! that makes some sense. Keeping everything aside, we wish Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz a happy and blessed life ahead.
