A Pakistani cybersecurity expert Usama Saleem, Earns Place on NASA’s Hall of Fame

NASA featured 25-year-old Pakistani cybersecurity expert Usama Saleem on its Hall of Fame after he discovered two major security vulnerabilities in their systems. His findings helped protect NASA’s sensitive data and strengthened the organization’s cybersecurity defenses.

With only three years of experience, Usama has made a significant impact in the field. He specializes in Azure Security, Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender XDR, while pursuing his Master’s in Cyber Security at NUST. He holds over 20 certifications and was named Microsoft’s Sentinel Black Belt in 2023 and 2024. His achievement has brought pride to Pakistan and inspired many aspiring cybersecurity professionals worldwide.
