COVID-19 seems to have turned into a relentless and fatal disease as it affects everyone in Pakistan. Albeit, the ongoing battle with the global pandemic, millions have died fighting it. However, our health care authorities are working day and night to bring a pause regarding the situation, COVID-19 is prevalent.
As it is, the pandemic is affecting almost everyone and almost everywhere around the globe. Recently, the news about Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed and Abrar-ul-Haq’s recovery hit the headlines, and let’s be honest, we all took a sigh of relief. Not only that but sadly we also heard about our favorite Lala Shahid Afridi getting affected by it very soon.

The list of famous people getting affected by the list is emerging in numbers from celebrities to even the general public. Regardless, many of the people fail to follow the required SOP’s still. It won’t be too late when the need to put a strict curfew; to save lives be imposed again. The dire situation we are living in is increasing and we are still at square one and unknown of how to react.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi tests positive
As if Pakistan isn’t going through enough problems already, Foreign Minister Pakistan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, took to Twitter to share the devastating news. Unfortunately, the foreign minister of Pakistan also fell ill recently. After having a continuous fever; he decided to get tested, upon which his report shows that he is also COVID-19 positive.
This afternoon I felt a slight fever and immediately quarantined myself at home. I have now tested positive for Covid 19. By the grace of Allah, I feel strong and energetic. I will continue to carry on my duties from home. Please keep me in your prayers.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi through a tweet, informs the public on his Twitter account that he has fallen ill and is sadly affected by the virus. Luckily though, he is assuring the public, that by far he feels nothing of critical nature; thanks to Allah, and will carry on with his duties from home.

Although the news of his reports is quite saddening, we admire his determination and dedication to work. The most inspiring aspect of this is that he is open and highly committed to work. Isn’t that the kind of inspiration we wish to see in the government. Truthfully, we see that Pakistan is in rough waters at the moment and we are uncertain of what might happen next.
However, all we can hope for is that the government is well aware of how to cater to the situation. We hope the government of Pakistan is able to rid of the problems and fight the social, political, and health crisis it is facing at the moment. We wish Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi a hearty and steady recovery. May he get well really soon.
