Sarwat Gilani, a talented actress and activist, shared her thoughts on marriage during a podcast with Rukhsat. She advised young people to wait until their 30s to get married, instead of rushing into it in their 20s. She believes people in their 20s are still discovering themselves, so waiting until they are more mature is important.
She also discussed how arranged marriages can sometimes work out better than love marriages. Further she explained that people in arranged marriages often start with low expectations, which can lead to success, while even long love relationships can end suddenly. Sarwat is happily married to Fahad Mirza, and they have three children together.
