FIA has arrested renowned TV personality and columnist Orya Maqbool Jan. Operation was conducted in the morning. Furthermore, Orya Maqbool Jan was arrested from his home in DHA Phase 6, Lahore.
Meanwhile, the arrest took place under Section 11 of PECA. Additionally, Section 11 addresses hate speech. However, it focuses on hate speech through any mass medium. Moreover, it focuses on specific elements that provide insight into sectarianism, racial distinction, and interfaith, differences.
