Rain To Hit Pakistan Next Week

Rain to fall next week. PMD states for the next week, from 26th August to 29th August. Furthermore, the low currents from west Bengal will soon enter Pakistan. So, Pakistan may likely receive rain.

PMD stated, “Due to this low-pressure weather system, strong monsoon currents are likely to enter the country [especially southern parts from August 25,”

Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz pointed out that intensity will vary from mild to harsh. Speaking to the government’s TV PTV he said “The intensity of the rainfall is likely to remain between mild and harsh, potentially causing disruptions in daily life,”

Additionally, the occurrence of winds will affect parts of Balochistan, the whole of Sindh, and southern Punjab.

Meanwhile, precautions are advised to citizens. Adding to the news, Sardar Sarfraz said, “The expected monsoon spell is likely to bring heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds, which may lead to flash flooding, landslides, and power outages. By staying informed and taking proactive measures, citizens can minimize the risks associated with this weather event,”
