According to Wikipedia, “sex education is instruction on issues relating to human sexuality, including emotional relations and responsibilities, human sexual anatomy, sexual activity, sexual reproduction, the age of consent, reproductive health, reproductive rights, safe sex, birth control, and sexual abstinence.”
With the emerging cases of rape in Pakistan, a lot of people raise the concerns of how sex and sex education should no longer be treated as a taboo. Children need to be made aware of human sexuality, the urges and the importance of consent, all that are important elements of sex education.
However, in a desi society, these words are treated as a taboo. Children learn about sex education from their friends or from Western media. The parents or any elder member of the family will never sit with the children to have a discussion.
Because of the Taboo in the Mindsets, People Such as Rabi Pirzada Believe Children Should Not Be Given Sex Education
In a video she shared on her Twitter handle, the singer said sex education may ruin the innocence of the children. She claims sex education can ruin the minds of the children and we shouldn’t manipulate them.
Say no to sex education to kids. We need to take care of them. Not ruining their childhood innocence. O you agree? pic.twitter.com/4RwL8XSAYL

Yep!
Sex education will not destroy their lives, it'll help save them. It raises awareness and teaches them about relationships, health, consent, rights and a million other things you don't seem to think are important enough.

Well, safe to say, Pakistanis do agree on the importance of sex education in Pakistan and that can be seen by the reaction on Rabi’s tweet.
This, in fact, all in itself shows why sex education is needed – because even grownups such as Rabi aren’t aware what it really means. Sex education has nothing to do with showing the children what an intercourse is and how is it perform.
The gap is huge – individuals need be made aware of these factors, given how the count of rape is rising day by day. Educating them about sex would not take away their innocence at all but in fact, allow them to learn about various factors, such as consent and the wrong touches.
