Maryam Nawaz's Punjab Government Offers Solar Panels at a 90% Discount

The government of Punjab will provide solar panels to consumers, ranging from 50 to 500 units. The announcement came from Maryam Nawaz, part of the ‘Roshan Gharana’ program.

Maryam conceived a meeting today, approving the program. Moreover, the Punjab government will pay 90% of the total cost of solar panels, consumers will pay 10%.

Moreover, the government aims to provide easy installments for the buyers, spanning over 5 years. Furthermore, the installment amount will be reduced during the winter months.

The qualification standards for the program lie on the financial standards i.e. electricity consumption of 50 to 500 units. Furthermore, the poorest families will be prioritized. Moreover, ration capacity will be settled, comparing the government’s electricity to the user’s electricity, per unit.
