Seemabia Tahir, a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was arrested outside Adiala Jail on Monday.
After her arrest, she was taken to Adiala police station for further legal action.
Sources say that she is accused in a case registered at the New Town police station. She was at the court for her scheduled appearance when the police took her into custody.
