Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has said Muharram’s moon may not likely be visible on Saturday. However, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene its meeting for moon sighting as per traditions, tomorrow.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will chair the meeting tomorrow, sighting Muharram’s moon for the new Islamic year 1446 Hijri. Meanwhile, local bodies of the committee will simultaneously sight the moon.

PMD has pointed that the weather throughout will be partly cloudy. Furthermore, Muharram’s moon will be born on the crossing conjunction point at 03:57 PST, dated July 6th. Therefore, astronomical parameters conclude no moon sighting tomorrow.
