Sana Safinaz is known as one of the most famous clothing brands for women in Pakistan. Winning numerous awards and embedding its name in the clothing industry from quite some time now, sub-continent women are quite aware of this particular clothing brand and love it.
As one of the most sold women collection clothing brands in Pakistan, the replicas produced by factories are also largely purchased by women who usually cannot afford to buy the original ones. Depending on the type of quality and replication, there are different levels of replica items available in the market.
To identify whether a certain print is a copy or not, the producers always miss out on some details or add an additional design that helps in distinguishing the differences between the original design and the copy design.
The replica producers either replace the material of the duppatta from silk to chiffon or from chiffon to lawn or change the designs on the suit. Changing the design of the suit or the pants is one of the most factors that helps in noticing whether the item is a copy or an original one.
The same is what happened with two designs of Sana Safinaz. The recently released Winter Shawl collection is now replicated in something we would rather call a “controversial design”. Here’s how the replication of Winter collection design 5a and 5b looks:

The print pattern shows “Allah” on the fabric, creating roars of anger among women.

Here’s another post sharing the similar claim:
On the other hand, the original design released by the brand itself shows no such design pattern on the suit or its shawl:

The original design does not depict any of such print pattern and it seems safe to say that it is the replica print that has changed the design.

Regardless of who’s fault it is, the designers of replicas need to be careful when copying the material. This not only tarnishes the image of the original brand but also results in chaos which is not needed. Women on social media are advocating how the brand itself has used the name of Allah as a print design on the suit.
The winter collection (shawl), which was released on the 28th of November had no such negative remarks. However, since then, the producers have got sufficient time to release replicas and hence, the design issue seems logical.
