Pakistan's Supreme Court rules in favor of PTI in reserved seat cases, allowing them 77 reserved seats.

Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) has ruled in favor of PTI. Moreover, SCP has allotted 77 seats to PTI. Addin on to SCP has reversed the Peshawar Court ruling their judgment on reserved seats for minorities, and women.

Supreme Court Pakistan (SCP) conducted nine hearings on air. Moreover, SCP reversed the Peshawar High Court. PTI candidates represented their case through the Sunni Ittehad Council. Though PTI loyalists came at the top with 90 seats, as the single largest party.

Before this, the Supreme Court in December had ruled to take away PTI’s bat symbol. Therefore, PTI loyalists had to work with the Sunni Ittihad Council. However, the Election Commission and Peshawar High Court denied winning PTI candidates and Sunni Ittihad Council their share of reserved seats.

Recent ruling, by the Supreme Court has allowed the Sunni Ittihad Council its fair share. Therefore, it is likely that the Sunni Ittihad Council will give a tough time to the ruling party in passing legislation.
