Pakistan has earned another IMF deal with the success of the budget 2024-2025. Pakistan hopes to secure another IMF program with the passing of budget 2024-2025. The budget passed with the IMF’s condition has paved the way for new IMF programs.
Meanwhile, IMF conditions also seek to increase NAPRA’s electricity tariff, furthermore, NEPRA also seeks quarterly and monthly adjustments. The finance ministry further notified IMF’s new program implementation in July.
