With the rise in AI Nvidia overtook Microsoft on Tuesday as the most valuable company in the world. Nvidia previously triumphed over Apple to become the second most valuable company in the world.
Nividia is a software company that engineers software and chips for AI companies like Meta, X, and Chat-GPT. With the sudden rise in the AI-competitive market and thus, the company’s demand has increased.
Nvidia overtook Microsoft on Tuesday with its stock rising to $3.33 trillion while Microsoft stood at $3.32 trillion. It is pertinent, not to overlook Nvidia’s takeover of the second most valuable company two weeks prior, walking over Apple.
The software company stands with a stock price of $135 per share after an increase of 3.5%. In the last 12 months, Nvidia’s total shares have increased by 215% with its value rising 34,00 % in the last five years.

Since June of 2023, Nividia has in-total risen from a $1 trillion industry to a $3 trillion making its growth the most rapid growth of any company. Nvidia’s rise has set a new record for S&P 500 index.
Nvidia is a software company that provides AI programs, chips, and software making it a high-demand company in the surge of the AI-competitive market. Google, Chat-GPT, X, and Meta, all have Nividia as a go-to option for AI software development companies.

CEO of Nvidia added the development of a new AI chip – Blackwell Ultra in 2025. Blackwell Ultra is a high-powered version of Blackwall chips. It will be followed by the Rubin – AI chip platform in 2026.
With the company’s current standing the development of new AI chips and platforms will further boost its standing in the stock market.
