It was not just Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, but many other shows are using the current situation in their storyline.
While makers tried to educate the audience about necessary COVID-19 precautions but seem like it landed it more like an entertainment purpose for the audience. The never-ending Indian soaps have always been criticized for dragging the storyline for no reason. That’s why, Indians also love Pakistani dramas which are nice, short and with a strong message.
