India has blocked 59 apps with Chinese links that included the hugely popular TikTok, WeChat and UC Browser. It is due to the economic backlash against China following the June 15 clashes at Ladakh in which 20 Indian soldiers died while fighting Chinese counterpart.
Now in an attempt to take their revenge with China and slush their economy, India is banning Chinese products. They strongly believe that by doing so China will be doomed. Twitter is now once again trolling India over their delusional thinking. Some are actually happy that TikTok is now banned in India since Indian won’t be able to make funny [call it stupid] videos anymore.
The move comes a day after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India has given a befitting response to China. He also spoke of the countrywide call for boycott of Chinese goods. “We will buy local and be vocal for local and this will help India become stronger,” he said.
Woah ✋ I'm sure China is scared After #ChineseAppsBlocked ?
India took revenge on #laddakh

Thank you @narendramodi Ji & @AmitShah Ji for banning TikTok & 59 Chinese Apps. TikTok was destroying India's culture & making kids act like idiots. We don't need or want anything from China. I'm so proud of Modi Ji he really gave a Technical Knockout to China, LOL #59Chineseapps pic.twitter.com/w9N4sz4Swx

India doesn’t even understand the basic rule of law:
1) Law should be applied to everyone equally. If you shut down TikTok, then do the same with Facebook, Twitter etc.
2) Due Process: You need to say what law was broken & prove it in a court trial.
India so dumb & regressive. pic.twitter.com/WAWV5U7qTq

However, in order to defend their move, Ministry of Electronics and Information and Technology said it had received an exhaustive recommendation from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre and the Ministry of Home Affairs. The ministry said it also received representations from people on ‘security of data and risk to privacy’ regarding certain apps.
The border crisis intensified over the last few days between India and China. As per viral videos and posts, China was seen reprimanding India and the soldiers of China were kicking the Indian army. Reciprocally, Indian forces were begging China for mercy.
