It’s no joke. This secret KFC recipe has been published by many authentic International Media outlets and now we are sharing it for you on Parhlo! Consisting of a blend of herbs and spices, this top-secret recipe was leaked by the nephew of the man behind huge KFC Empire, Colonel Sanders.
In a recent interview with a reporter, the nephew Joe Ledington brought out a scrapbook belonging to the wife of the Colonel. It had the last will and testament of Colonel Sander’s second wife. On the back of the book there was a handwritten list of the magical herbs. KFC says that its recipe is one of the most closely guarded trade secrets in the world and denies that the nephew’s recipe is authentic. No harm in publishing it if it’s not authentic, right?

Seattle Times tested this recipe and has a few side notes:
T = Tablespoons
Optimal Oil Temperature = 350 Degrees
Chicken was soaked in Buttermilk and coated once in Breading Mixture
Optional: A final touch of MSG Flavor enhancer. Seattle Times cooked the chicken that tasted too close to the original but still there was something missing. After using the flavour enhancer the recipe turned out to be as good as original: Seattle Times note.
