Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif was bestowed the honour of receiving the coveted Brazilian “Order of Merit” award this Wednesday while on his 3 day visit to Brazil. General Raheel is reportedly the first Asian ever to receive this award.

Brazilian Army Chief commented, that the order of merit award has been given to General Raheel Sharif for displaying amazing strategy and courage to deal with the eminent threat of terrorism within Pakistan and successfully leading the army to counter multiple international and domestic threats.
