Dear PSL,
You are humbly requested to please stop playing games with our fragile hearts because we cannot take it anymore. The final in Lahore is yet to come and no idea what a meltdown would take place then. But we do claim we are loving every bit of it. So, continue, please…
Regards,
Pakistan
What a nerve-wracking, mind-boggling, euphoric and sensational Pakistan Super League season 2 we are having! Who thought it would turn out to be this good? Remember all those who assertively claimed that PSL would be a lackluster ahead of its commence? Where are they now?

Cricket just could not get any better than this for us. Our sentiments are tethered to this league and we cannot handle the frenzy and the surge of emotions that every single match of PSL 2017 has brought!
It’s swamping of emotional moments that we cannot stop talking about. We have found fond memories made during PSL 2017 and we just think what would happen to us when it ends tomorrow!

Anyway, we have got to talk about the enticing moments happened in PSL 2017 so far that have engrossed our attention.
So, sit back, relax because you are in for an emotional ride of PSL 2017 all over again!
1. Wahab Riaz getting emotional during KKvPZ post-match interview
Apparently, his father’s wish was to see him reach and play the final in Lahore. Unfortunately, he passed away prior to the commence of this tournament. Condolences to him and his family.
2. Pietersen to Shehzad – Troll 101
Quality banter there, KP!
3. Kevin Pietersen vs. Wahab Riaz

Wahab Riaz accidently hit the bowl to Pietersen in an attempt to blast the wicket. He didn’t apologize or anything and showed aggression to which Kevin Pietersen answered in such a savage, a breathtaking and absolutely riveting way by scoring a giant six, tournament’s biggest so far – 101 meters.
4. Shahid Afridi’s back-to-back sixes – an epitome of classic Afridi!
Talk about sixers and you will start missing Shahid Afridi. A sixer strike in Cricket should be synonymous with Shahid Afridi, apparently.
5. Kamran Akmal awarded a standing ovation by the entire jam-packed Dubai stadium after scoring a century

The first century of PSL 2017 finally came, courtesy of Kamran Akmal. He proved that he has still got it.
6. Kieron Pollard performing push-ups after scoring 2 match winning sixes off last 2 balls for Karachi Kings
HAQ KI KHULI KITAAB, POLLARD, POLLARD!
He’s 6’5″, he’s a giant, he’s from Carribean and he loves to score mighty with all his might!
7. Danny Morrison’s epic banter
Danny has been the life of PSL 2017. He proved that there’s much more to the league than just the game. His euphoric antics in the crowd and dances were enthralling!
8. Alan Wilkins trying to speak Urdu was the cutest thing
Dear Alan, you are a legend! We love you and will miss you in the final.
9. Lala’s heartbreaking injury

Source: Twitter
Oh, Lala, we wished to see your madness on the pitch of Gaddafi Stadium, but unfortunately, you won’t feature in the final.
Afridi will be missed, severely! We wish him a speedy recovery.
10. Pitch invader taking selfie with Darren Sammy

Source: Twitter
How can people remain calm and contain their emotions when star-studded players are outshining? One fan couldn’t control and daringly invaded the pitch to earn a selfie with Peshawar Zalmi captain, Darren Sammy.
11. GAYLE STORM!
Most expensive player of PSL 2017. All eyes were on the legendary Christopher Henry Gayle. He did not live up to his real reputation of scoring boundaries and centuries. Much to our surprise, the first century of PSL was not scored by Gayle.
However, he still entertained us with all he could. Admit it, you don’t have to be a Karachi Kings fan, in particular, to enjoy and love Chris Gayle.
12. Rumman Raees’ celebration is the new thing!
One of the architect’s of Islamabad United’s good run in PSL 2017, Rumman Raees started a big trend for the way he celebrated taking wickets. He would stand straight and composed, fold his arms around and make a still expression as if he is the boss and it is his routine game. It became an overnight sensation among people!
13. Danny Morrison the cheerleader
DANNY BEING DANNY – simply making PSL 2017 worth everything!
14. Some international players wholeheartedly agreed to play the final in Lahore
If we win tonight I will travel to Lahore for the final. @KarachiKingsARY @thePSLt20 #DhanDhanaDhanHogaRe

15. The adorable Fawad Rana and special moments with him

He has done so much for Pakistan Cricket. He is absolutely a gem of a person.
16. You can be cool but you can’t be Grant Elliot scoring a six, winning the game and celebrating in style cool
Talk about an epic way to celebrate, Grant Elliot just answered with his bat-drop style!
17. Chris Gayle becoming an Umpire

Source: Twitter
Gayle comes off with giant sixes, big scores, and off-field banter. During Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi (not the semi-final) he blatantly gave a call that the leg Umpire was supposed to give. He was hailing for a WIDE ball on Afridi which was dismissed by the Umpire.
18. KUMAR NINJAKARA
Wish we can sign Sangakara for Pakistan Cricket Team
What a Superb Catch … @KamranAkmal23 Learn to FLY #PSL2017 #KKvsIU pic.twitter.com/b23nfES3jW— IamJaxim (@IamJaxim) March 1, 2017
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s SANGAAAAAAAAAA! Captain Kumar Sangakara’s reflexes were unbelievable when he caught Dwayne Smith’s catch during #KKvIU after diving off his position.
19. CHAKAAAAAAA
Alan Wilkins chanting for sixes on the mic during his lovely commentary was absolutely gold! DESI GORA
:)) wah RT IamTeamIK: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well, that was all for now! Certainly, it all made PSL 2017 a memorable tournament!
Let us see what the finale between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi brings for us!
