Previously, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced the commencement of the new lunar month of Rabi Ul Awal on Friday, 6th September.
Therefore, September 17 will celebrate Eid Milad un Nabi. Furthermore, it is to celebrate the birth of the Prophet of Islam.
Maulana Azad of the Moon citing committee stated, “We didn’t receive reports of moon sighting, and the committee, with consensus, concluded that the month of Rabi ul Awal will commence on September 6 (Friday),”

The meeting of the committee ended with prayers for Muslims around the globe. It included Makkah Medina, Palestine, and Kashmir.
