Linkin Park’s frontman Chester Bennington committed suicide on 20th of July, 2017, the reason being clinical depression. The heartbreaking news of the Linkin Park vocalist who we all saw and followed and hummed along as he sang those magical lyrics, swept our senses away.

Without a doubt, Chester Bennington’s death hit the world with a massive jerk of emotions. Sentiments of the millennial generation were specifically attached to the late singer and it was hard to deal with such a massive loss. Mike Shinoda, the prodigy of Linkin Park also shared an account on his death as the world poured in tributes, testimonials, and prayers in honor of Chester. Just recently, his wife, Talinda Bennington shared a video of Chester Bennington, hours before he committed suicide.

This video speaks volume of how we tend to perceive about depression.
Not many people in the world have come to acknowledge or deal with the fact that mental illness is real, it’s an integral problem and our attention calls for it. If you find a human around you prone to suicide or suicidal thoughts, seek help for them or give them an ear that can listen to them. Seek professional help and be wise about it.
