The second Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre inaugurated today (Tuesday) in Peshawar’s Hayatabad.
This cancer hospital would not only provide the state-of-the-art treatment facilities to residents of KP, but also to the people of remote areas of the country.
It is said that the SKMCH Peshawar has a total covered area of 450,000 sq. ft., at a cost of Rs 4 billion while its treatment facility will be larger than SKMCH in Lahore.
The hospital was inaugurated by a cancer patient Faakhir Afridi.
