The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) released the schedule for gas load-shedding during the month of Ramadan in Karachi.
The plan says that gas will not be delivered from 9 am to 3 pm or 10 pm to 3 am during the Holy Month.
The SSGC said that there would be a steady flow of gas during Sehr-o-Iftar. The company said in a statement that Pakistan’s reserves of gas are dropping by 8 to 10 percent each year.
The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) made a scary statement: Pakistan’s gas stocks are likely to be cut in half by 2027.
The SSGC also said that it is working on making biogas, nitrogen, and gas from coal to meet the country’s gas needs.
ARY News reported on Monday that the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SPARCO) said that people will see the Ramadan moon in 2025.

A SPARCO representative said that the new moon will happen on February 28, 2025, at 5:45 PM Pakistan Standard Time.
Unfortunately, SPARCO says that it will be hard to see the crescent moon in Pakistan on February 28th.
By the time the sun goes down that day, the moon will have been around for only 12 hours and 5 degrees high. The moon will be 7 degrees away from the sun, which will make it difficult to see the crescent with the human eye.
