On Thursday, while he was in Pakistan on official business, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif a model of Togg, Turkey’s own electric car. As part of his three-nation Asia tour, Erdogan gave the T10X type Togg SUV in Islamabad as a gift.
Before posing for a photo in front of the green car, the two leaders stopped to converse. The car’s unique color comes from the lush Ayder mountains, which are near Erdogan’s home city of Rize on the Black Sea coast of Turkey.

To make a point, Erdogan sat in the passenger seat with PM Shehbaz while the PM drove the electric SUV. A picture of the event showed how the bond between the two countries is getting stronger.

This week, Erdogan’s third and last stop on his Asia trip was Pakistan. Earlier this week, Erdogan went to Malaysia and gave Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim a similar Togg car. He gave Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto another Togg on Wednesday.
