Virgin Galactic Spaceplane Lands Back Successfully with Four Tourists

Virgin Galactic landed its commercial space flight in Spaceport America, New Mexico. Richard Barson owned company flew four tourists to the edge of space.

The passengers on the flight included US, Turkish, and an Italian passenger to an altitude of 55 miles. The flight lasted for more than an hour.

The descent marked the last operation for Virgin Space Unity spaceplane as the company announced its closure.

Virgin Galactic is to introduce a new module for its spaceplane. The company will introduce its 4th generation spaceplane VSS Unity for commercial service by 2026.
