UK’s Kenton Cool and Nepal’s guide Kami Rita broke their record, climbing Mount Everest for the 18th and 29th time separately.

Rakesh Gurung, director of the Tourism Department of Nepal, said Kenton Cool climbed Mount Everest for the 18th time, while Kami Rita did it for the 29th. Everest is the highest mountain in the world, with a height of 8,849 metres.

Both of them have also climbed other mountains. The two mountaineers have received applause from people in their industry.

Garret Madison of Madison Mountaineering (an expedition organization company) remarked to Kami Rita, “He just keeps going and going. amazing guy”.
Madison, in 2014, teamed up with Kami Rita to climb K2 (Pakistan), Lhotse (Nepal), and Everest.

Luke Furtenbach, an Austrian climber climbing Everest from the Chinese side, remarked on Kenton Cool’s feat. Furthermore, he called Cool an institution.
Kenton Cool and Kami Rita had used the conventional route to climb the mountain, Southeast Ridge Route.
The Southeast Ridge route was set by Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norway, the first duo to climb Everest in 1953.
