Ahead of the most controversial event of the year ”Aurat March”, a recent feud on a live TV show has sparked serious debate online. Earlier this week, writer Khalil Ur Rehman was invited on a live TV show alongside journalist Marvi Sirmed. However, the session grasped heat after Khalil Ur Rehman lost his cool and degraded Marvi Sirmed on her constant provocation with ‘Mera Jism Meri Marzi’ slogan.
Twitter Rejects #MeraJismMeriMarzi after Khalil Ur Rehman and Marvi Sirmed controversy!
Eventually, after the heated issue went viral online, netizens were quick to joke, support and criticize the involved parties. However, Pakistani celebrities started condemning Khalil Ur Rehman’s ‘abusive’ remarks towards Marvi Sirmed. Well, in taking sides, as of now, Twitter has rejected the stance ‘Mera Jism Meri Marzi’ following Khalil Ur Rehman’s opinion on the slogan.

Daily Times
Currently, #WeRejectMeraJismMeriMarzi is among the top trends on Twitter Pakistan relating to the prior quarrel. As per the collected information, several Pakistani celebrities including Mahira Khan and Aamir Liaquat are bashing the writer. Apparently, the majority of Pakistanis are supporting Khalil Ur Rehman on breaking the typical ‘Pakistani feminist’ approach.
Pakistanis picking sides on the matter!
However, its not the first time someone has shattered the prevailing concept of ‘bloody feminism’ in Pakistan. Previously, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statements on feminism caused an uproar on social media offending many. Particularly, the Premier, while in an interview, stated, ”Feminism is a movement of the West which has degraded the role of mothers”.
Unfortunately, feminism in Pakistan is only limited to slogans like ‘Mera Jism Meri Marzi’ and ‘Khana Khud Garam Kar Lo’. Thrashing such vile approach and filthy banners erupting from ‘Aurat March’ every year, Twitteratis seem to have had enough.
”Undercover group of homosexuals!”
