The ever first appearance of Mahira Khan on the stage, the speech to highlight the plight of Kashmiris by Faysal Qureshi, the tribute to Qawwal Amjad Sabri and Edhi Sahab by two renowned Ali’s of Coke Studio Season 8-Ali Zafar and Ali Sethi. What else could you want?

Sadqay Tumhare again bagged two major awards- Mahira Khan for Best Actress and Khalil ur Rehman for Best Writer. The award for Best Actor made its way to none other than Faysal Qureshi for Rang Laaga with the very tough competition against Osman Khalid Butt for Diyar e Dil.

Jawani Phir ahi Aani is still talk of the town and of LSA town too. Humayun Saeed and Ayesha Khan won Best Actor and Supporting Actress respectively while the movie won for the Best Film, Jury’s Choice, the art of Manto and Moor was put to death with the trend! Alas!

2016 has proved itself as a major breakthrough for the melodious Zaib Bangash. She won in the category of Best OST for Diyar e Dil and Best Singer for Kya Hoga in Manto which she shared with the Legendary Abida Parveen for Maula of Bin Roye

Nabila received award for Best Hair and Makeup Artist which is actually her 10th award for the same category. While Fozia Aman and Hasnain Lehri inspired the Jury for the Best Model. The cobbler turned accountant turned photographer- Abdullah Haris won the award for Best Fashion Photographer.
