Google to Open 50 Smart Schools in Pakistan

Google is all set to launch 50 smart schools right here in Pakistan’s capital city! This means students in Islamabad are in for something really special.

Google has teamed up with a local company called Tech Valley to make this happen. Recently, they sat down with some important folks from Pakistan’s Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training to talk about their big plans.

These schools are going to be super cool. They’ll get special IDs from Google, made just for education. And they’ll have all sorts of awesome features, like AI-powered practice sets and lots of digital tools to help students learn better.

But Google’s not stopping there. They’re also going to help teachers by giving them training workshops. Plus, they’re thinking of creating a special school that other schools can look up to, called a Google Reference School. And get this—they’re even planning to teach 2,000 young people skills they need for jobs through something called Google Career Certificates.

And let’s not forget about International Women’s Day. Google made it clear they’re all about empowering women. They believe that giving women the right skills and tools can make a huge difference. That’s why they’re giving out scholarships, with at least half going to women. It’s all about helping women find great jobs and follow their dreams.

However, Google’s efforts extend beyond education. They are also heavily participating in the Google News Initiative, a project that aims to help journalists. By engaging with local partners, Google guarantees that every voice is heard.

This is a big deal for Pakistan, and it shows how much Google cares about education, equality, and helping people succeed.
