A 29-year-old student, Abubakar Tahiru, learning about trees in Ghana, just got into the Guinness World Records! He hugged an amazing 1,123 trees in just one hour, setting a brand-new world record.
Abubakar did this incredible thing at Tuskegee National Forest in Alabama, USA. He made sure to hug each tree really tight, following all the rules set by Guinness World Records. Lots of people have seen his video on Instagram, showing how awesome he is!

Abubakar shared how happy he is, saying, “Getting this world record means so much to me. It’s my way of saying how important trees are for our world and why we need to look after them.”
The words on Guinness World Records’ Instagram post proudly say, “Most trees hugged in one hour (individual) 1,123 by Abubakar Tahiru.” This amazing thing Abubakar did shows how much he cares about taking care of our planet.
